I'm a BlackBerry addict...
Hi!
I'm such a Blackberry addict it's not even funny. I've gotten every new Berry T-Mo launched since the 8120 came out. I have the 8900 now and can't wait until the new Bold 9700 arrives in a few weeks!
I'm so addicted that I do everything on it. Even all of my posts on Head-Fi are done on my precious BlackBerry. Even when I had my heart attack a few weeks ago I was texting and emailing in the hospital. DURING THE ATTACK BEFORE I WAS STABILIZED! They had to literally pry it from my hands to do the catherization and insert the stent.
Does anyone here enjoy my obsession? Please tell me your extent. :)

Amazon Trims Kindle's Price to Match the Nook
Amazon has slimmed down both the number of Kindle e-readers the e-tailer is offering, as well as the price. At its Kindle store, Amazon now offers just two versions of the Kindle: the widescreen DX, for $489, and a 6-inch version of the Kindle optimized for both domestic and international wireless downloads. (Previously, the two versions were separate devices.) As of now, the price of the latter Kindle is $259, down from $279, the launch price of the international Kindle. Amazon's domestic and international Kindles both use the GSM international wireless standard. The most reasonable explanation for the price cut is a competitive one; the rival Barnes & Noble Nook costs $259 as well. Wired also discovered
that the international version does offer some Web browsing, as long as
the only site users want to visit is Wikipedia. Pictures that appear on
the site, however, are not rendered, Wired reported.

A bird dog trip for electronics
With the time of gift giving just around the corner I have already started dropping hints on what I would like to see in my stocking. My son and I have an agreement to mention what we want as many times as possible to the girls in our family since they do most of the shopping. When we were out on a shopping excursion my son and I decided we would take the girls out to every electronics department that we could think of. We went from store to store shopping for electronics. It was so much fun. I did not realize it but my daughters were wanting gaming equipment just as my son does. My wife I am still working on but I think I saw a twinkle in her eyes when we passed the HD-DVD players!

Voice-activated spy cam hides in a wall socket
Spy cameras are everywhere. You can’t simply ignore any household item around you, a plain wall socket can also work as a spy camera and take away all your privacy.
This wall-socket spy camera is voice-activated, once the voices nearby reache 65db, it’ll be automatically activated and start recording video of the surrounding continuously for 5 minutes.
The good side of use is it can be installed in your house or office to keep an eye of the environment to prevent employee, housekeeper or roommates snatching your valuables away, and let you have piece of mind.
This Wall socket spy-cam also features a TF card slot and supports up to 8GB TF card, which allows you to have lots of rooms for video recording. Everything comes so perfect and unnoticeable, no one would expect a wall socket could record video.
But the bad side is once it’s in the hands of bad guys, it can be installed in any hotel rooms that may make travelers’ privacy in danger. It’s advisable f

Bose Adds PC Music Streaming to Wave's Arsenal
Bose's Wave Music System, which has a built-in CD player and AM/FM radio, can now stream music from your computer, as well. The upgraded design is called Wave Music System - Soundlink and will be available for $599.90 from the Bose's Web site starting tomorrow. The streaming system utilizes the familiar USB dongle solution, which bypasses the need for WiFi by transmitting an RF-based signal from the dongle to the speaker system. In other words, there's no set-up or software necessary, and it can stream anything your computer plays--it is simply streaming the PC's output. Bose never confirms behind-the-scenes tech specs, but Creative and Altec Lansing have utilized similar RF-based wireless transmission in the past. Current owners of Wave Music Systems will be able to purchase the Soundlink upgrade kit for $149.95.

SNEGA2USB Mounts your Game Cartridges with USB, Emulation is Go
If you were looking for that super finishing touch for your MAME arcade machine, it's here. The SNEGA2USB will let you plug in your Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo cartridges into it and mount them as a regular USB 2.0 storage device, no drivers needed. The game ROMS and (SNES SRAM saved games) will show up as files on the drive, and then you can point a console emulator at them. You should also be able to backup your games and play them offline, but absolutely, positively, no sharing them with your friends or online. Once you get your rig up and running, you can play all your old favorites on any PC screen with up to 4 players by USB game pads. According to recent updates, the cartridges are even hot-swappable. This is still a fledgling project and production isn't exactly in full gear. You'll have to pre-order at $90 by October 31st but shipping isn't expected until December. There's also a 'group buy' option that is trying to get some critical mass required to get enough units p
