Add Feed to Your Reader! alternative apparel. finally, a company to rival pervy dov charney. i have always loved the simplicity behind american apparel but i have just gotten so turned off by their skeevy aesthetic. (upon further review, i stumbled upon this and might need it.)but, anyway... i'm in no way prude or easily offended. i like coked out models in gold lame as much as the next person. i just think charney's a skeezeball. see how cute and wholesome these girls are? thank you, alternative apparel. (plus, they offer this hat that i want right now.)

Add Feed to Your Reader! one a day from amelia mae: day one. a few months ago, while browsing through the (mostly country craft fair-esque) wares of oklahoma creatives (and a lot of not-so-creatives), i came across project 8256's etsy shop and immediately bought this print. since then, i've been a fan of oklahoman and illustrator amy coldren. you'll be a fan too once you read what her project's all about. enjoy! c: tell me a bit about project 8256 and the motivation behind it. a: Very simply, Project 8256 started out of a desire to help a family grow. When my sister told me that she and her husband had decided to adopt, I knew I had to do whatever I possibly could to help. Adoption, and international adoption in particular, is extremely expensive, so we tried to think of unique ways to raise the needed funds. I was familiar with Etsy from a customer standpoint, so it really grew from there. Once I started creating the artwork for the first set of prints, and as I continued to research more about the AIDS crisis and orphan crisis in Africa, it b

Add Feed to Your Reader! 'october' print by devon kelley-yurdin. caught this via love made visible, and i think i need it A LOT. in my quest to pay off debt, i'm also trying to edit my life & belongings ... getting rid of things i don't need and adding things i do need, especially those that inspire. i've done a lot of this in the past year, but i still have a long way to go (mostly clothes, which is the hardest part). charming wall, $20

Add Feed to Your Reader! mac shadestick: would it do the trick? eternally grateful for ez's muse for inspiring me on my most uninspiring of days.i've gotten into such a makeup rut these days. not that it's a bad thing: i can do my makeup in under 3 minutes on a good eyelash day. but my routine is boring the pants off of me. thank god summer's approaching and that calls for a little more color. i'd love to make the above look a regular, day-off thing without ending up looking like an eighth grader. do you think that's possible? any products you'd recommend?for now, i like the looks of mac shadestick, but i'd love to try something even brighter (i think?). that yellow is pretty delicious but would look awful on me. mac cosmetics, $16p.s. i think these shu uemura drawing pencils might be what's used here.
